Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo is a holiday park set in a historic building in Guarda, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral. Everything here is superb. Our unit was on 2 floors - all spotless. Far more space than we needed. Wonderful gardens with a large pool. Parking right outside our apartment. The property is secure with gated access. Gorgeous views all round. A really lovely place. Highly recommend We ate at a super local restaurant called “Ponto de Encontro”. 3 courses for 2 people plus drinks and all for €37. A great stopover and only sorry it was just for one night

In the Covilhã region, Luna Chalés de Montanha is situated in a mountain resort in the heart of Serra da Estrela and offers panoramic mountain views. Beautiful location, great for kids, cabins were great for families, WiFi worked well, showers worked well. Kitchen well stalked.
